Toyo Carriers Manufacturing, or TCM, bears the distinction of having produced the first internal-combustion (IC) engine forklift in Japan in 1949. Considered a pioneer in the development and manufacturing of material-handling equipment including forklifts, the company is now part of Mitsubishi Logisnext (Logistical Equipment & System Solutions Next) Europe, the provider of TCM material-handling equipment since its founding in 2018. Part of the Logisnext Group, MLE also manufactures lift equipment under the Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, UniCarriers, Nichiyu Electric Forklift, Cat Lift Trucks, and Rocla brands.

Product Lines

Produced in facilities in Europe, Japan, and China, TCM’s lift products include a wide range of small, midsize, and large IC forklifts with 1.36- to 39-tonne (1.5- to 43-U.S.-ton) lift capacities, as well as electric forklifts with 0.9- to 3.18-t (1- to 3.5-U.S.-t) lift capacities. Popular model families include the FH, FG, FD, FHD, FHG, and PRO series of pneumatic-tyre forklifts and FB-, FCB-, FCG-, and FTB-series cushion-tyre models. TCM’s other lift products include pedestrian stackers, pallet trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers. TCM also offers a line of skid-steer loaders.
